Takaful

According to Standard & Poor’s, the international financial crisis should not be too harsh on Takaful insurance companies. The released survey reveals that Islamic financial institutions are able to cope with the economic downturn. Takaful companies owe their financial soundness to a good liquidity level and to a solid capital base. Nonetheless and despite this resistance, S&P foresees a deterioration of the financial performances which remain exposed to stock market fluctuations.
