SAA's Chairman, Amara Latrous, has been in charge of the presidency of the Union des Assureurs et Réassureurs (UAR) as of November 2006. He takes over Ali Djendi, former Chairman of CAAR who has retired. UAR is a corporate entity that gathers the whole of insurance companies.
