Coface and Assurance Mutuelle Chaâbi have obtained license from the ministry of economy to settle in Casablanca Finance City. Coface, which applied last September, is intent on offering credit insurance to Moroccan exporters whose activity is guided toward West Africa.
As to Mutual Assurance Chaâbi, it is a joint venture owned by the Banque Centrale Populaire and the Mutuelle Centrale Marocaine d’Assurance (MCMA). Its capital amounts to 50 million MAD (6.204 million USD).
Both Coface and Mutuelle d’Assurance Chaâbi have obtained the status of Casablanca Finance City, allowing them to benefit from specific advantages, especially tax wise.
