Apr 2016 Saudi Re closed the year 2015 with a net profit down by 99% going from 10 838 874 SAR (2 888 885 USD) in 2014 to 106 315 SAR (28 348 USD) twelve months later.
This drop is attributable to foreign exchange fluctuations losses.
The Saudi reinsurer showed, however, an increase of 44.6% in gross written premiums at 804 825 788 SAR (214 606 796 USD).
