The insurer Misr Life, has lately been marketing a policy protecting its customers from serious diseases such as cancer, coronary by-pass surgical procedures, myocardial infarction, kidney failures, heart attacks, aneurismal fracture, total loss of sight, replacement of heart valves, transplant surgery, multiple sclerosis and paralysis.
This insurance plan provides for a lump sum non-taxable benefit paid over a period of time extending between 10 to 20 years in the event of occurrence of any of those serious diseases.
