2018 World Cup: According to Lloyd's, French footballers are the best insured

According to the criterion of insured capital, France would be the 2018 world champion in Russia as confirmed by the Lloyd's, a specialist in insurance and reinsurance, in one of its latest studies.

For the London market leader, the total amount of insured capital for all teams taking part in the 2018 World Cup in Russia amounted to 17.3 billion USD. France (1.8 billion USD) tops the list, followed by England (1.5 billion USD), then Brazil (1.4 billion USD). These teams are the most expensive in terms of insurable value.

Note that the average value of a French player, is set at 61.5 million USD, that is higher than that of the entire team of Panama that comes at the bottom of the ranking with 23.3 million USD.
