21 licenses granted for issuing insurance online in Egypt

The Egyptian Financial Regulatory Authority has granted 21 new licenses for 14 insurance companies to issue insurance products online.

Insurers, brokers and other intermediaries are authorized to sell five types of standard insurance online which are compulsory motor insurance, travel insurance, term life insurance, microinsurance and personal accident insurance.
