233 million USD of damages due to urban violence

According to the French Federation of Insurance Companies, the cost of damages caused by the civil unrest and violence which shook out the suburbs of France main cities is estimated at EUR 200 Million (USD 234,000,000) of which EUR 20 Million (USD 23,400,000) for the cars that were set ablaze.
