31st General Conference of the General Arab Insurance Federation (GAIF)
The city of Beirut in Lebanon, is hosting the 31st GAIF General Conference from 24 to 26 May 2016.
Under the theme "Future challenges of Arab insurance and reinsurance companies", the meeting brings together nearly 1 400 participants from 57 countries.
This meeting is an opportunity for stakeholders to assess the current status of the Arab insurance market and foresee the challenges insurers and reinsurers in the MENA region will meet in the coming years.
This year's event is also an opportunity for participants to work on:
- the need to innovate in insurance with the emergence of new risks such as cyber-crime, political risk, increasing human life expectancy, ...
- the consolidation of cooperation between the Arab countries in order to share their common experience in the insurance sector.
