40th General Assembly of Africa Re

The 40^th ordinary general meeting of the African Reinsurance Company (Africa Re) took place from 19 to 21 June 2018 in Conakry (Guinea).

The company's net profit amounted to 87.98 million USD compared to 100.2 million USD in 2016. The turnover of the Pan-African reinsurer amounted to 746.83 million USD, up by 16.3% against 642.02 million USD in 2016.

On the sidelines of this meeting, the company elected eight new directors for a 3-year term and appointed the accounting firm Deloitte-Côte d'Ivoire as statutory auditor for a fifth and final term.
Africa Re's next General Assembly will be held in June 2019 in Tunisia.
