45th FANAF general assembly postponed

Due to the pandemic, the 45^th general assembly of the Federation of African National Insurance Companies (FANAF) was postponed. Initially scheduled for February 2021 in Dakar, the event will finally be organized in two phases.

In the first phase, the ordinary general assembly will be held via videoconference between the last week of February and the first week of March 2021.

This first phase will be devoted to :

• the review of the balance sheet of the activities for the financial year 2020
• the presentation of the new executive board's three-year action plan
• the presentation and validation of the financial statements for the fiscal year 2020
• the adoption of the draft budget for the fiscal year 2021
• the adoption of resolutions

The second phase will take place face-to-face, except in cases of force majeure. The date and place of the meeting will be specified later.

During this meeting, the scientific aspects associated with the organization of the statutory ordinary general assembly of FANAF will be addressed.
