9569 motor TPL insurance claims in the United Arab Emirates

The UAE's Insurance Authority has received 9569 motor third party liability insurance claims and inquiries during 2017.

According to a recent study, the number of insurance contracts issued in the United Arab Emirats reached 3.89 million contracts in 2017.

This study conducted by the Insurance Authority highlights the positive aspects of the unification of the motor insurance contract. It also confirms that the family (ascendants, descendants and spouse) is now covered by the motor TPL policy, which was not the case in the past.
