A 2% decrease in premium volume to the sector of life insurance

According to the French federation of insurance Companies (FFSA), the subprime crisis that has shaken American real estate did cause the sector of life insurance (long term insurance, sinking fund insurance, health, accident) a 2% decrease in premium volume at 151.5 billion EUR (223 billion USD) in 2007.
