A good renewal for SCOR

The renewal of SCOR business, by January 1, 2010, is increasing by 7%. Thegross written premiums should amount to 3.5 billion EUR (5 billion USD) in non-life throughout 2010 compared to 3.26 billion EUR (4.6 billion USD) in 2009. The netcombined ratio should be around 96% for ongoing year. The French reinsurer is posting a slight growth of its non-proportional reinsurance operations which account for 36% of the written volume compared to 35% during the 2009 renewal.
