A second earthquake of 7.4 magnitude hits the country 

A new earthquake of 7.4 magnitude hit Nepal on May 12, 2015. The quake whose epicenter is located on the China-Nepal border lasted nearly a minute.

It was felt from Nepal to New Delhi in India. It leaves behind only ruins with, for now, no casualties reported.

This earthquake comes two weeks after that of April 25 whose provisional toll is 8 046 dead people and 17 000 wounded.
Economic losses caused by the first quake would exceed five billion USD.
