A series of tornadoes which claimed the lives of 50 persons

Three of the country's southern states: Tennessee, Arkansas and Alabama have been the hardest-hit by a series of tornadoes which claimed the lives of 50 persons, injured so many more and left a trail of destruction. The event that took place on February 6, 2008, is regarded as unseasonable.
