Abdelilah Laamarti appointed mediator of the Moroccan insurance market

The Supervisory Authority of Insurance and Social Welfare (ACAPS) and the Moroccan Federation of Insurance and Reinsurance Companies (FMSAR) have signed a new insurance mediation charter aimed at improving the services rendered to the insured.

Abdelilah Laamarti has been appointed insurance mediator for a renewable three-year term. He succeeds Mohamed Saidi in this position.

A. Laamarti graduated as an engineer from Ecole Centrale de Paris and holds two masters degrees, in Business Administration and Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA.

He has held several positions in the insurance industry, notably with Alliance Africaine des Assurances, Atlanta and Sanad. A. Laamarti retired in 2020.
