Abderrahim Dbich, new CEO of Allianz Maroc

Allianz Africa appoints Abderrahim Dbich as the new CEO of Allianz Maroc. A. Dbich succeeds Joerg Weber and also joins the Board of Directors of the Moroccan insurer as a Board member. The appointment took effect on 1 January 2022.

A. Dbich is a graduate of the Institut National de Statistique et d'Economie Appliquée Maroc (INSEA) and has 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. He joined AXA Assurance Maroc in 2009, where he held several management positions during his 12 years of activity.

Prior to his recent appointment, the new CEO served as Deputy General Manager of AXA Assurance Maroc and was an Executive Committee member of the Fédération Marocaine des Sociétés d'Assurances et de Réassurance (FMSAR).

A. Dbich has been presiding over the Fonds de Garantie des Accidents de la Circulation (FGAC) since September 2020.
