Qatar: Access to online claim declaration extended to several insurers

The Qatari transportation ministry has extended the list of insurers benefiting from the procedure of online claim declaration. So far, only Qatar Insurance and Beema Insurance have had access that enables motorists to report claims without appearing before the ministry departments.

Insurers are therefore able to receive the number of the registration plate from the ministry, along with the reference number of the file with a description of the damages. Online claim declaration is limited to the only losses that are not subject to judicial litigation.
