ACE, about to acquire a majority stake in Siam Commercial Samaggi Insurance

ACE's acquisition of 60.9% stake in the Thai non-life insurer Siam Commercial Samaggi should become effective by the second quarter of this year. Siam Commercial Insurance Samaggi has achieved a turnover of almost 138 million USD in 2012.

The transaction of an amount of 185 million USD will enable ACE to strengthen its position in Southeast Asia.
