Africa and Middle East, hunting ground for insurers

Consulting and auditing company KPMG drew a picture of trends and future opportunities for mergers and acquisitions in the insurance world.

Insurers are seeking to enter new markets by capturing growth and rationalizing non-core activities. These regions appear to be the most favorable in terms of potential. According to KPMG, they will undergo a considerable growth in the number of mergers and acquisitions in the insurance sector.
