AIA is launching an electronic platform

The Hong Kong life insurer AIA has established its online electronic sale platform. This initiative is designed to enable customers to underwrite an insurance policy in three minutes. The company is using a robot named Andy in order to respond to users’ questions in a customized fashion.

Recourse to new technologies has become commonplace in Hong Kong. Manulife, MetLife, Allianz have already introduced innovative methods in product distribution, premium calculation and customer behavioral evaluation.
