AIG is expecting losses of 3.1 billion USD in the third quarter of 2017

Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, Maria and the Mexican earthquake are expected to cause AIG pre-tax losses of between 2.9 and 3.1 billion USD in the third quarter of 2017.

Harvey's losses would be set between 1.1 billion and 1.2 billion USD. Those generated by Irma would be between 1 billion and 1.1 billion USD while the bill for Hurricane Maria would be between 600 million USD and 700 million USD.

The American insurer, also present in Mexico, will be affected at 150 million USD by the earthquake that hit this country on September 19, 2017.
