Ajit Jain and Gregory Abel, two candidates to succeed Warren Buffett

The succession of Warren Buffett at the head of Berkshire Hathaway becomes clearer. The 87-year-old businessman announced on January 10, 2018, the entry of Gregory Abel and Ajit Jain on the board of directors of the company.

Ajit Jain, 65, Executive Vice President of National Indemnity and head of the Berkshire reinsurance entity, has been appointed to the same position for the insurance activities.

Gregory Abel, 55, chairman of the Berkshire Hathaway Energy subsidiary, has been appointed vice president in charge of non-insurance activities.

These two candidates are with Howard Buffett, son of the American investor, the best people to take the reins of the holding company.
