Algerian insurers are considering new risks

The Compagnie Centrale de Réassurance (CCR) organized, on 8 November 2016 in Algiers,a seminar on emerging risks .

The overall local market as well as numerous experts participated in this event whose proceedings were introduced by Hadj Mohamed Seba, CEO of CCR.

The topics raised by foreign experts generated intense debates. Like the entire world market, Algerian companies are confronted with cyber attacks, climate change and other natural and human catastrophes.

Insurers must respond appropriately to these new risks, which are a significant threat to the market.
As an example and according to a lecturer, cyber attacks have become a real scourge with nearly 90% of global companies being victims of hackers in the past 12 months.
