Alliance Assurances, increase of net profit above 50% in 2013

Alliance Assurances has reported a net profit of 367 million DZD (4.7 million USD) in 2013, that is an increase of 58% compared to 2012. This result is accounted for by the 13.5% increase of turnover which amounted to 4.15 billion DZD (52.9 million USD).

This performance is due to the increase of turnover, to a better control of management expenses, of claims and to the recovery of a previously compromised outstanding debt."

The company has stated that the 2014 objective is "to maintain a recovery performance to reach 10% of the year's unpaid premiums".

Based on this result, the insurer has announced the distribution of 47% of its net profit to shareholders, that is 30 DZD (0.38 USD) per share, an amount 15% higher than in 2012.
