Alliance Assurances: results 2020

Alliance assurancesAlliance Assurances published its results as of 31 December 2020.

Set at 4.7 billion DZD (35.46 million USD) compared to 5.2 billion DZD (43.45 million USD) in 2019, the turnover decreased by 9.6%.

The premium decline is due to numerous factors including the health crisis, the halt in the marketing of new vehicles and the dumping of tariffs.

The net result stood at 481.03 million DZD (3.62 million USD) against 482.09 million DZD (4.02 million USD) as of 31 December 2019, which represents a decline of 0.2%.

Despite the difficult economic situation, the Board of Directors which held a General Meeting in late May 2021, decided to distribute a dividend of 32 DZD (0.24 USD) per share for the year 2020.

The company's shareholder’s equity that was set at 17.9%, reached 4.6 billion DZD (34.7 million USD) at the end of 2020. The Return on equity (ROE) was established at 9.4% thus decreasing by 1.5% compared to 2019.
