Allianz,Toyota and BMW, keen on investing substantially in autonomous vehicles

The three entities have specifically reported their use of developed technology by the corporation Silicon Valley “Nauto” for their test vehicles.

Nauto is using cameras and a system of artificial intelligence to understand the behavior of motorists. These projects are likely to culminate in the creation of a vehicle that is both safe and efficient.

The data collected are going to help partners finalize their projects in this field. The study of motorists’ behavior along with the traffic conditions will make it possible to apprehend the risks and to avoid fraud.

The details of the agreement have not been disclosed. BMWi Ventures, Allianz Ventures and Toyota Research Institute will have equal shares in “Nauto”.
