Already established in Ghana, Liberty is now targeting Ethiopian and Rwandan markets

Liberty Holdings is finalizing the acquisition of an asset management company in Ghana. Like many South African insurers, Liberty is intent on expanding beyond its domestic market whose growth is stable.

The countries of sub-Saharan Africa are undergoing sustained economic activity, thus providing opportunities for growth.

Not only Rwanda and Ethiopia, but also Nigeria is the new target. For the time being, Ethiopia does not allow foreign companies to hold shares in local companies while talks in Nigeria have not been successful. Liberty Holding is present in 16 African countries.
