A.M. Best dowgrades Kenya Re's rating

A.M. Best has downgraded Kenya Re's financial strength rating from B+ to B and the credit rating from bbb- to bb+ with outlooks going, nevertheless, from negative to stable.

The rating agency has justified this decline by the uncertainties related to the company's exposure to natural disasters and to financial markets' risks in Kenya.
