A.M. Best upgrades Zep Re's rating

A.M. Best has upgraded the financial strength and credit ratings of Zep Re (PTA Reinsurance). The latter went respectively from B+ to B++ and from bbb- to bbb. The outlook for both ratings is stable.

The rating agency has justified its new valuation by the solid capitalization of the Kenyan reinsurer, the improvement of its regional competitive position and the maintained profitability of its underwritings in a difficult market context.
