Amendment of the Insurance Code

The Comité Général des Assurances (general insurance committee), which monitors and controls the market, has sent a draft revision to the insurance Code to the various players (insurance companies, brokers, general agents, etc.).

The aim of this text is not only to remedy the legal inadequacies found in the current legislation but also to bring it into line with international standards.

A one-month period was granted to the various professional structures concerned so that they can give their opinion on the project.
