AMI Assurances: future share capital increase

ami assurancesAMI Assurances closed the 2019 financial year with a loss of 29 944 309 TND ( 10 688 300 USD) against a net loss of 75 567 136 TND (25 106 200 USD) as at 31 December 2018. The insurance company recorded a turnover of 161 182 936 TND (57 532 300 USD), a 4% decrease compared to the end of 2018.

The recovery policy initiated by the company's new management has been hindered by a very deteriorated local economic context.

The company's Ordinary General Assembly (OGA) will be held on 25 December 2020 in Tunis. The OGA will be followed by an Extraordinary General Assembly (EGA) which will focus on the increase of AMI Assurances' share capital.

This increase in cash would raise the share capital from 40 983 736 TND (14 995 700 USD) to 87 391 790 TND (31 976 100 USD). The operation will result in the issuance of 46 408 054 bonus shares, with a nominal value of 1 TND (USD 0.365) each, plus an issuance premium of 1 TND ( 0.365 USD) per share.
