Amsa Assurance to become a shareholder of Ogar Assurance

Amsa Assurance Sénégal has just acquired 22% of the Omnium Gabonais d’Assurance et de Réassurance (Ogar). It is follwing a board meeting held on 12 September 2019 in Libreville that the Gabonese company gave the green light to Amsa Assurance Sénégal at the expense of Wafa Assurance. The Moroccan insurer was in negotiations with the Delta Synergie Group to acquire shares in Ogar's capital.

This shareholding results in the issuance of 17 857 new shares. The transaction will allow Ogar to finance its new development plan.
