Aon quits the African market for good

Aon has sold all of its African activities to the South African investment group CapitalWorks, a move approved by the supervisory authorities.

The British broker, having previously served in Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Lesotho, Namibia, Swaziland, Uganda, Zambia, Tanzania and Angola, has finally withdrawn from the African market. Nevertheless, it will continue to serve its mainland customers through an agreement with Minet Holdings Africa.
