Artificial intelligence: Swiss Re to partner with Microsoft

Swiss Re has signed a strategic partnership with Microsoft. The objective is to make the Swiss giant benefit from the expertise of the American multinational technology company in data and artificial intelligence.

Several tools will be provided by Microsoft such as the new generation of Azure cloud, the Internet of Things (IoT) and Microsoft's “artificial intelligence” (AI). These instruments will allow the reinsurer to become more effective in risk assessment.

Connected vehicles and resilience to natural disasters are among the most concerned by this alliance.
