Assessment of cyclone Manou

Report drawn up by the National Council for Aid, a week after the cyclone "Manou" above localities of Vatomandry Brickaville and Andevoranto (200km east of the capital) from 8 to 11 May 2003, 70 dead, 85 wounded and 19 missing, more than 114,000 victims. 24,500 homes, many roads and public infrastructure damaged.
A fund of $ 400,000 will be allocated through national solidarity.
