Assurances Générales du Congo are developing a new product
Assurances Générales du Congo are marketing a new insurance product baptized Libota. This comprehensive insurance cover has been designed for households with coverage for the entire family. The plan includes fire guarantees up to 20 million FCFA (33 000 USD), in addition to electrical and water damage, theft and glass breakage. The personal accident guarantee, medical second opinion and funeral covers are also included.
The insurer is currently in talks with banks with a view to introducing payment by means of direct debit. The premium amounts to 312 373 FCFA (520 USD).
