ASTREE Assurances: results 2018

The insurance and reinsurance company ASTREE recorded an 8.25% increase in premiums in 2018.

The turnover of 2017 reached 156 million TND (51.8 million USD).

The structure of the portfolio remains stable. The business is dominated by the motor activity which holds a market share of 35.87%, followed by the life and health classes which collection account for 23.27% and 13.64% respectively.

Despite a total 5.64% increase in the indemnification, the net profit rose by 8.6%. After recording 15 million TND (6 million USD) in 2017, it rose at 16.3 million TND (5.4 million USD) in the year 2018.

The equity capital increased by 5.76% to reach 123 million TND (40.8 million USD) in 2018 compared to 116.6 million TND (47 million TND) in the previous year.
