ATI: significant increase in results 2019

ATI-ACAThe African Trade Insurance Agency (ATI) reported a 132% increase in the 2019 net profit that went from 11.927 million USD in 2018 to 27.678 million USD in 2019.

On 31 December 2019, the gross written premiums amounted to 111.892 million USD against 66.154 million USD in 2018 that is a 69% growth over one year. The shareholder’s equity increased by 33% to reach 349.179 million USD.

Founded in 2001, ATI aims to protect foreign direct investments by providing insurance coverage for political and commercial risks.

Based in Nairobi (Kenya),  ATI is planning a large-scale expansion in Africa. The agency currently operates in 16 African countries and counts 10 institutional entities among its shareholders.
