Aviva sells its life subsidiary in Vietnam

Aviva is in the process of selling its entire stake in its subsidiary Aviva Vietnam Life Insurance Company Limited to Manulife Financial Asia Limited.

The transaction is still pending approval from the regulatory authorities and is expected to be finalized during the second half of 2021.

The UK insurer also sold its stake in the Hong Kong joint venture to Hillhouse Capital.
