AXA: Health insurance development policy in the USA

After acquiring the American company Maestro Health at the beginning of 2018, Axa wishes to develop its health activities in the United States.

The American health market being saturated, competition leaves little chance for significant internal growth. Only an acquisition policy of existing actors can boost the French giant's activities in the United States.

AXA has recently stated that it had allocated an annual budget of about EUR 200 million (228 million USD) for strategic acquisitions in the innovation sectors.
