AXA is covering e-reputation
The French insurer AXA has proposed as of last January the coverage of its insured against internet hazards such as, reputation, impersonation (online identity theft), shopping-related disputes, etc… Swiss Life has been on this niche for a year. AXA justified the introduction of such a product on the market by the fact that 210 000 individuals are victimized by internet every year, that is more than the victims of burglary in France. However, many underwriting restrictions and conditions are required by the insurer.
