Axa is targeting an average 10% annual growth by 2015

The insurer Axa, number three on the Moroccan market, has reported a 9.7% growth of its turnover in 2011. With the exception of marine insurance, all classes of business have grown. The company’s top activities, motor, corporate risks and workmen’s compensation have respectively grown by 8%, 11% and 7.5% from 2012 to 2015, Axa is targeting an annual average growth of 10% thanks mainly to the doubling of its general agents, to the rapprochement with brokers and the development of life products. Its CEO, Michel Hascoët, declared early May that the takeover opportunities of sub-Saharan companies, scrutinized from Casablanca, will be taken seriously.
