AXA, premium growth in the third quarter of 2019

AXAAXA Group reported a turnover worth 79.7 billion EUR (87.1 billion USD) in the first nine months of 2019, that is an increase of 5%. This growth was mainly supported by the property class business of companies whose premiums rose by 7% at 24.9 billion EUR (27.2 billion USD).

For its part, health insurance grew by 6% with premiums amounting to 10.7 billion EUR (11.7 billion USD). These improved results are visible in all geographical areas, particularly in France, where the turnover rose by 4% to reach 19.6 billion EUR (21.4 billion USD).

During the same period, AXA XL, the group's new entity, record an 11% growth of its business. This performance was reinforced by a favorable pricing environment and a significant increase in the volume of renewed business.
