AXA saves the Tour Triangle project

tour-triangleConstruction of the Tour Triangle, in the 15th arrondissement of Paris, is scheduled for late 2021. The insurer AXA has stepped in to save this massive project with an undisclosed financial investment. The private financing amounts to 500 million EUR (578.631 million USD).

The steel and glass tower will be 180 meters high and comprise 42 floors. It will notably include modern offices, a panoramic restaurant, shops and two viewpoints. The tower will emit four times less CO2 than a conventional building.

The Triangle Tower is expected to generate 5 000 jobs during its construction and just as many once the work is completed in 2026. The construction has been entrusted to BESIX, builder of the Burj Khalifa Tower in Dubai.
