AXA to open medical centres in emerging countries

AXA logoIn order to make its clients' healthcare journey easier, Axa will open some 50 medical centers in the emerging countries by 2023. Through this initiative, the insurer expects to serve 1.5 million customers.

Axa has already opened a similar structure in Egypt with World Health Management as a technical partner. Another centre was also established in Mexico. The latter is the result of a joint venture with Colombian health insurer Keralty.

Apart from medical diagnostic services, Axa's centres have laboratory equipment and offer affordable medical consultations. A windfall for populations whose access to quality care remains limited.
