Bad weather in the South, provisional toll, 405 million USD of insured losses

The French association of insurance (AFA) drew up a provisional toll of bad weather which hit the South of France at the end of last September.
Insured losses in the departments affected (including Hérault, Gard and Aveyron) have been estimated at 405.3 million USD on 70 000 claims received basis.

Note that according to the Caisse Centrale de réassurance (CCR), floods following this stormy wave might result in losses estimated between 125 and 250 million USD in Montpellier area.
