Berkshire Hathaway is entering the Indian market

The insurer Berkshire Hathaway has announced its entry into the Indian market as an agent of Bajaj Allianz General Insurance for which it will be underwriting motor risks. Distribution will be carried out directly and through the internet and telephone. Other risks may be subsequently underwritten.
