Blockchain application for the identification of diplomas soon in Tunisia

The launch of the first application prototype using Blockchain solution, for the establishment and identification of university diplomas, is planned for the last quarter of 2018 in Tunisia.

The application will be made available to the Tunisian Ministry of Higher Education starting from October. It will facilitate, in few minutes, the process of recognizing diplomas with foreign institutions, thus reducing the administrative procedures.

Blockchain technology, "considered the greatest technological revolution since the Internet", avoids, as a reminder, the use of trusted third parties by relying on a peer-to-peer network to validate transactions within a transparent and secure framework.
